Appointments

We strive to offer our patients an appointment within 48 hours, and if your problem is urgent a doctor will see you the same day. Appointments for all surgeries including our May Lane Consulting Room should be made through the Uley Reception on 860459.

Cancellations

Please phone 01453 860459

Please inform Reception as soon as possible if you have to cancel your appointment as someone else may need to see a Doctor urgently.

Home Visits

If possible please try to telephone reception before 10:00 if you require a home visit.

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.

Teaching

At times we have Medical Students from University College London and Bristol attached to the Surgery. They are given practical opportunities during their time with us for training pusposes.

If your appointment coincides with this, it is at the patient's discretion whether or not the Medical Sudent remains present during the consultation.
